The Ticket Booth iPhone app
Take contactless card payments at your event with Tap to Pay on iPhone — no card reader needed.
The web booth runs in any browser, and for cash and EFTPOS sales it's all you need. The RaffleLink Ticket Booth iPhone app adds the one thing a browser can't do: Tap to Pay — your sellers take contactless card payments on their iPhone, with no card reader or EFTPOS machine at the table.
What it does
Same booth, same orders, same raffle — plus card payments:
- Tap to Pay on iPhone — the buyer taps their card (or their phone) on the seller's iPhone. The payment is processed through RaffleLink, the buyer gets their ticket by email straight away, and the sale counts as a RaffleLink Sale — the standard platform fee applies, same as an online purchase.
- Cash, EFTPOS, and Other — recorded exactly like the web booth: the money goes straight to your organisation, there's no fee, and the sale counts as Cash & POS Sales.
That's the same who-processes-the-payment rule as everywhere else on RaffleLink — see How the money works. Tap to Pay uses Apple's built-in contactless reader, so there's no extra hardware to buy or pair.
Getting the app
The app is on the App Store — search for RaffleLink Ticket Booth.
Sign in with the RaffleLink account you already use for the booth — there's no separate app account to create.
An Android version is in the works. Until it lands, Android sellers use the web booth in their browser (cash, EFTPOS, and Other sales).
Refunds and voids
Because a Tap to Pay payment is processed through RaffleLink, it refunds like an online sale — back to the buyer's card, through us. Cash and EFTPOS orders are still handled in person.
