The Ticket Booth app
Take contactless card payments at your event with Tap to Pay — on iPhone or Android, no card reader needed.
The web booth runs in any browser, and for cash and EFTPOS sales it's all you need. The RaffleLink Ticket Booth app adds the one thing a browser can't do: Tap to Pay — your sellers take contactless card payments on their own phone, with no card reader or EFTPOS machine at the table. It's available for iPhone and Android.
What it does
Same booth, same orders, same raffle — plus card payments:
- Tap to Pay — the buyer taps their card (or their phone) on the seller's phone. The payment is processed through RaffleLink, the buyer gets their ticket by email straight away, and the sale counts as a RaffleLink Sale — the standard platform fee applies, same as an online purchase. On iPhone it's Apple's Tap to Pay on iPhone; on Android it's simply Tap to Pay. Either way there's no extra hardware to buy or pair — it uses the phone's built-in contactless reader.
- Cash, EFTPOS, and Other — recorded exactly like the web booth: the money goes straight to your organisation, there's no fee, and the sale counts as Cash & POS Sales.
That's the same who-processes-the-payment rule as everywhere else on RaffleLink — see How the money works.
Getting the app
Search for RaffleLink Ticket Booth on your phone's app store, or use these links:
- iPhone — the App Store
- Android — Google Play
Sign in with the RaffleLink account you already use for the booth — there's no separate app account to create.
Refunds and voids
Because a Tap to Pay payment is processed through RaffleLink, it refunds like an online sale — back to the buyer's card, through us. Cash and EFTPOS orders are still handled in person.
