If a raffle is cancelled
What happens to your tickets and your money if a raffle doesn't go ahead.
Occasionally a raffle is cancelled before it's drawn — it didn't meet its requirements, circumstances changed, or the organiser had to call it off. If that happens to a raffle you've bought into, here's what to expect.
You'll be told by email
If a raffle you're in is cancelled, you'll get an email letting you know. You don't have to watch for it — it comes to the address on your order.
Your money comes back
A cancelled raffle means your purchase is refunded to your original payment method:
- Card payments — refunded to your card, typically arriving in 5–10 business days.
- PayPal — refunded to your PayPal account.
The cancellation email confirms the refund, so you've got it in writing.
Your tickets are released
When a raffle is cancelled, the tickets are released from the draw — there's no draw to be part of any more. Nothing further is needed from you.
If you don't see your refund
Refunds can take a few business days to land. If it's been longer than that and you can't see it:
- Check the right account — card refunds go to the card you paid with; PayPal refunds go to PayPal.
- Contact the organiser (raffle page) or support@rafflelink.com with your order details, and we'll chase it down.
