Can I get a refund?

How refunds work on raffle tickets, and who to talk to.

Last reviewed 5 June 2026

The honest short answer: raffle tickets generally aren't refundable just because you've changed your mind. When you buy a ticket, you've entered the draw and supported the cause — that's the deal, much like a traditional paper raffle ticket.

That said, there are situations where a refund does happen.

When a refund does apply

  • The raffle is cancelled. If a raffle doesn't go ahead, your purchase is refunded. See If a raffle is cancelled.
  • Your order is voided. If the organiser cancels your specific order (for example, a duplicate purchase), it's refunded if you paid by card or PayPal. See If your order is voided.
  • Something genuinely went wrong — a duplicate charge, a clear mistake. Worth raising.

Who to ask

Refunds are the organiser's call, not RaffleLink's — it's their raffle and their proceeds. So:

  1. Contact the organiser first. Their contact details are on the raffle page. Explain your situation; they can void and refund your order if they agree it's warranted.
  2. If you can't reach the organiser, or there's a technical problem (like a double charge), email support@rafflelink.com and we'll help.

How a refund reaches you

If your order is refunded, the money goes back to your original payment method — your card or your PayPal account. Card refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear. (Tickets bought in person with cash at an event are handled by the organiser directly, since RaffleLink didn't process that payment.)
